This event will assist Newtown’s Missy Flynn, an avid runner and triathlete, who is recovering from a brain aneurysm which occurred on December 23, 2005. Missy is working hard on her rehab, but she will need a lot of help.Because the recovery period is long, Missy will face significant medical expenses that are not covered by insurance. We are asking for your help. All fundsraised will go toward a fund dedicated to help with Missy’s medical expenses.Thank you for your participation and donation. |

Where: Newtown Athletic Club
Distances: 4 rides (10, 30, 40, 50 miles)
Entry Fee: $20 (Pre-register received by July 24th)
$25 (Received after July 24th)
Registration: 7 a.m. - 10 a.m.

I personally rode with Missy many times and was always amazed at the great determination she had. I couldn't beleive that she worked 2 jobs and still managed to make time to train for triathlons. Only because of this determination is she able to get through this - but she needs our help. This could be you or I. Please come ride for Missy.
